Imagine being offered a prenatal test for Autism.
Imagine being offered the option to terminate your pregnancy because your unborn child is Autistic.
NOW IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE YOUR CHILD DOESN’T EXIST.
Sound far fetched, doesn’t it? Like something from a dystopian horror story?
The harsh reality is that it isn’t a made-up story…. It’s 100% accurate and happening as we speak.
On the 24th of August, a genetic study was announced, they aim to collect 10,000 samples of Autistic people and their families DNA and medical records. They claim this is to “improve the well-being” of Autistic people….
Here’s the reality…
This study is being led by two men who have built their entire career off the back of trying to cure us or group us into useful or unuseful…
They’re lying to us!
90,000 Autistic DNA samples already exist. Scientists have been working hard on this for YEARS and now the UK want to make a 10,000 strong contribution.
Think about how much that must cost?
Think about what could actually be done with that money in terms of support and education instead of trying to eradicate us from existence?
We won’t stop a prenatal screening test from being created to detect autism pre-birth but we can slow it down.
We are following in the footsteps of Sweden and Iceland… They have used prenatal screening to delete the existence of people with downs syndrome.
This is eugenics.
This is abhorrent.
THIS IS WHY THE AUTISTIC COMMUNITY ARE CAMPAIGNING SO HARD AGAINST IT.
This is why we must come together and STOP SPECTRUM 10K!
